They are charging me too much

I opened the account recently in february with African bank. i have been paying them for 5 months. The initial installment balance is the same as the current balance after paying them for 5 moths. i was expecting the loan balance to be reduced monthly as i pay them. I am very shocked the the balance is still the same and the intrest rate fluctuates. I need assistance. I called the call centre number 0112589000 and the agents will not tell me why. I was reffered to a supervisor who was at a meeting when i called, The agent advised me to call 0112569129. His name is John adams, i have been calling this number for the past two hours and no body responds.
