In May 2013 my garage card was cloned and transactions to the value of -R2500 were part of the investigation. End of May I received an email stating that R1900 will be refunded on my card. Ever since I get sms' stating my card in arrears. After numerous calls to and LEGAL division, I decided to visit Castlewalk Branch. The lady was very helpful in taking all my details. The bank has contacted me in the meantime to say someone will contact me to address this matter. Until today, no contact has been made and I still receive the sms' to say I am in arrears. My frustration is when calling the department, they tell you to speak to legal, because the matter is handed over, then legal tell you to speak to. This way I ended up telling my story to 9 different people in one day, just to hear they cannot assist in that department. It is now August, 3 months later and STILL not resolved. I feel like cancelling everything I have at Std bank if this is the type of service they give their clients. Whats next... my name on ITC for a late payer???
