In 2009 I bought a Bantam Bakkie through MFC. A few months ago they apparently migrated to Nedbank with which I do not have a problem. However, on my statement dated 22 May 2013 an extra amount of R1863.18 was added to my account as "initial finance charges". I have sent them numerous e-mails (3) now asking for an explanation for this, but I keep on getting the same answer - "we have migrated to Nedbank". It is as if this is an automated response because I have tried explaining in different ways what I would like to know, but they keep on sending the same answer and not responding to the questions asked. My outstanding balance in May is now more than what it was in April and that after another payment was made. This is not acceptable and phoning them is no option seeing that their lines close before I get home and there phones keep on ringing for very long during office hours and I can not keep on holding forever. They have sent me a copy of my original contract but nowhere can I see that said amount and why would they only now but the initial finance charges on my account. I hope to get a decent response now after reporting them.
