On July 18, I ordered manual credit card sales slips (reference 7751875) on 0860 111 222. I told the person I was not paying a call out fee (like last time, I was not informed of the fee either, of course). TODAY is August 7 and nobody called me and obviously, I do not the slips. I called again, the person called me back and told me that I must pay the call out fee. OVER MY DEAD BODY! I was then told I could pick them up on the West Rand (only a round trip of 140kms, I guess you do not pay for petrol, but your customers do!). And that I would have to pay for the slips anyway. What a disgusting behavior by ABSA BANK! Don't you make enough money out of me by charging me high credit card fees? I am now encouraging all customers to pay into my (NON ABSA) bank account, this is pathetic how ABSA BANK treats small businesses! But I guess I should not be surprised...
