Broken ATM, clients problem

I deposited money (R2300) at an ATM on Sunday evening. The ATM's that have the money reflect in your account immediately. I chose this option because I needed the money. The machine conveniently decided to pack up after i deposited the cash and gave me a "cash jam" receipt. I contacted the bank the next morning and was told it would take 7 days to investigate the incident. As a customer to them and someone that deposited the money for immediate receipt, this is unacceptable and places me in a financially uncomfortable situation. Worse is, that their 'hands in the air' approach does not go a long way about their customer service
