MFC incompetence knows no limits!!

I financed a vehicle through MFC, big mistake. I do not like debit orders, because that means: "Hello, I don't know how to control my finances, so please do it for me and while you are about it help yourself to anything from my bank account. I am too ignorant to notice." I was told I could cancel it after the first month. I did. I started paying by direct transfer. MFC continued to debit. Give credit where credit is due, they did pay the extra amounts back to me eventually. The banking details they gave me was incorrect and it took me an entire month to get the correct ones. I thought things were finally on track, then I received a rude phone call accusing me of being behind. MFC obviously did not want direct payments I and conceded. I requested to have my debit order reinstated. That itself was a painful exercise. Another month of trips to the bank, phone calls and emails and finally last night I received an email telling me that on 1 August 2013 my account would be double debited as I was behind. I provided proof of payment. I then received an email today, a reply to the email I sent in April telling me my debit order was now cancelled. What incompetence!! What am I to do now??
