I am appalled at the professionalism of Nu-Debt Management Services:
1. Out of the blue SMS received on 4 June with the threat to be handed over for debt collection for R6, 803.00 with a reference number.
2. Contact Nu-Debt - send through proof of payment to both Nu Debt and their Client.
3. Manager contacts me telephonically to say they will look into the account and get back to me before Friday 7th June 2013. STILL WAITING
4. Client sorts out on their side. Nu-Debt IGNORE.
5. Receive another SMS threat on the 19 July 2013 for exactly the same amount. Email basetsanat at Nu-debt IGNORED. Now this is 2nd time I have emailed them proof and nothing is done about it!!!
6. 23 July yet another bully tactic SMS for R6, 708.00 to be deposited GARNISHEE ORDER MAY BE PLACED 11:10am
7. 23 July yet another SMS only 48 Hrs to be paid and the banking details at 12:16pm
8. Client and I continue business monthly.
What does a normal paying citizen have to prove that they have paid their debt? And please do not give me the call centre number with reference as they are useless as per complaint above?
Any lawyers out there have any recommendations or which council do I lodge a complaint?
