I am insured by Zurich insurance. I recently had my car and in order to get the settlement resolved, Zurich asked Wesbank for a settlement letter.
The settlement letter clearly stated that the settlement amount stipulated did not include the monthly debit order that they had already actioned against my account as they had already run the debit orders for the month. This was the second month since my car had been and thus, the second time in which I would be billed for my monthly car installment since the car had been. I did not complain on the first month after the incident when I was billed as Zurich still had a rental booked for me.
Following receipt of the settlement letter from Wesbank, Zurich only settled on the amount stipulated and did not also include the amount that was set to run off my account.
I am also still being billed the monthly insurance amount that I used to pay on my car even though it is no longer in my possession.
I have tried getting in touch with Zurich through my broker and no one is willing to assist in reimbursing the insurance amounts I am still being billed and to resolve the understanding on the Wesbank settlement letter.
