We can we not help you?

I am a platinum account holder at FNB. One day two other banks phoned we and asked if I was interested in a credit card. I responded that they should phone me back after 1 day. After they have phoned me I decided to contact FNB to apply for a credit card via them because if I have any problems I can sort it out at one bank. The banker took down all my information for the application process. The system declined me. The banker asked me if I had any accounts which is older than 6 months. I replied YES. I have multiple accounts. She said that she will call me back after she has spoken to the credit department.

After 10 min she phoned me back and said that the reason the system declined me was because it only shows the last account that I opened recently and IT was not older than 6 months (3 months old), I replied that I have about 5 accounts on my name which includes an account which is more than a year old. Even my cellphone contract is 8 months old. I don't have any outstanding accounts or anything. So during the course of next month I will change my account to the bank who phoned ME and who was willing to give ME credit, not that I needed it, but if i did, FNB replies sorry si
