After the worst banking experience ever - one complaint after the other. I finally decided to close my accounts at Standard Bank and move on to a different institution. My cheque-card does not work at any ATM and several staff members tried to rectify whatever the problem was. "Sir, my system shows that their is no problem", was the most popular responce I got.
I ended up at Belinda janse van Rensburg at the Bryanston branch. She was extremely friendly, helpful, considerate and professional. Thank you very much for sorting a 6-month issue in under 5 minutes.
Standard Bank, please employ more people like Belinda and give her a raise. Once you have 50 more of her, I'll move my accounts back to you
