I RECENTLY AQUIRED CAR FINANCE THROUGH STANDARD BANK ASSET AND VECHILE FINANCE WHICH I GREATLY APPRECIATED. AS MY DRIVERS LICENCE HAD EXPIRED I APPLIED FOR A NEW LICENCE AS IT TAKE FOUR WEEKS I GOT A TEMPORARY DRIVERS LICENCE WHICH WAS SENT THROUGH TO STANDARD BANK I THEN RECEIVED AN EMAIL SAY THAT THE DEALER COULD NOT INVOICE THE CAR AS THE BANK REQUIRED MY LICENCE CARD, WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND IS HOW BY LAW I AM ABLE TO LEGALLY DRIVE A CAR WITH A TEMPORARY LICENCE THE BANK WILL NOT RELEASE THE CAR, I HAVE CONTACTED THE FINANCE CALL CENTRE AS IT IS THE ONLY CONTACT NUMBER THAT I HAVE FOUND THEY HAVE GIVEN ME A REFERENCE NUMBER 54120150 I HAVE CALLED THEM 6 TIMES IN THE PASSED 24 HOURS THEY HAVR TOLD ME THAT SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK IN 5 MINUTES AND AS YET I HAVE HEARD NOTHING - WHILIST I APPRECIATE ALL THEIR HELP I AM REALLY CONCERNED AS TO WHY MY CAR CANT BE RELEASE ON A TEMP LICENSE AND WHY NOBODY COMES BACK TO ME- I HAVE BEEN TO THE LICENCING DEPARTMENT I THEY TELL ME IT TAKES 4 WEEKS. I HAVE TAKEN OUT CAR INSURANCE OF WHICH MY FIRST PREMIUM COMES OFF MY BANK ACCOUNT ON THE 1 AUGUST 2013 - I AM REALLY DESPERATE PLEASE CAN YOU HELP
