Mistaken Identity Causes Negative Credit Rating

Approx. November 2012 I became aware of a Negative Credit Status I had incurred for an Alleged loan which I apparently took while staying in Cape Town, I immediately Contacted a local Branch which resulted in all my details/complaint being processed with the Promise to contact me in due course.
No further communication was forthcoming from First National Bank, until June 2013 when attorney, s (Creditors) are now seeking resolution of my alleged defaultered loan.

I have never had any dealings with First National Bank, now I understand why!
I have never stayed in Cape Town! Neither have I ever been resident at the address they have listed! And I have never been employed at Employer they allege! Surely it is good practise to ensure the integrity of the information before falsely accusing innocent members of the public who do not even make use of their services.
