I recently contacted your call centre about an alleged loan that i have with you. I did in fact apply for a loan, which was approved, however the funds were paid into an incorrect bank account. The money was retrieved and the loan agreement was terminated for this reason. Thus I have no loan with you currently, I requested that the alleged loan in question be removed from my credit record as it affects my ability to obtain credit from other financial institutions and also my credit rating. Apparently the matter was referred to the relevant department and thus far i have heard no feed back whatsoever regarding my dispute. Today i managed to check my credit record again and found that the loan amount of R11000 and the instalment amount of R655 is still reflecting on my credit record. If you fail to correct the matter by the end of the month further steps will be taken (i.e the logging of a formal complaint with the ombudsman for my inconvenience suffered) .
