Paid for service, but why pay R49 per month then??

I opened my account with FNB last month, I was told that there would be a fee of R49 per month. Well when going onto my account I had to get the surprise of a deduction for the amount of R40.41 and may I add the description says Value Added Service fees! To my knowledge the information I was given was misleading! Why the deduction. I would Like this money refunded to my account! I was told that the account would have a fee of R49 per month. So please explain FNB, are you out to blindly my money???
