My geyser burst on 27 May 2013. Since then I have been paid out for the geyser damage and I had the geyser replaced on my own accord. But the repairs to ceiling damage and my water damaged alarm system has not been attended to. AA Insurance blamed the initial vendor and then sent a 2nd lot of vendors to do assessments, but 6 weeks later I still do not have an answer on whether the damage will be repaired.
The phone of the "personal consultant" I have been assigned just rings on end and I have not had any joy getting assistance through the general call centre.
Seems like the only way to get a response is to complain on public forums. As soon as this case is resolved I am moving my business to another insurance company. Shame on you AA!
