I am a platinum account older at FNB, and provide a fair amount in my account. The rewards advertised apparently come with significant unreasonable terms and conditions. I opened my account before the end of April 2013 and a difficult as it is to move my account working in a government parastatal, I succeeded. Upon request to access the application for an I pad, I was told my application will be thrown out because I was non resident and had no credit record. Checking my account, my earning will prove I pay for all what I buy and have savings. I was told by the sales person to go open an account and use it. Does that not defeat the aim of reducing people getting indebited. I can afford to buy it cash but the principle behind my joining fnb and the proper advertising done by my son, made me leave my old bank. I would like a response and I would like to believe the bank can be trusted to do as they say
