I am a contractor @ ABSA Cres in branch fit outs. An ABSA Cres Senior Manager Hugh Munzeiwa (Munzeiwa) facilitated our inclusion into the database. His intention was to utilize our company as a conduit to channel moneys from ABSA for himself. Munzeiwa has similar arrangements with other parties but mainly Johan Koolen of Koolcon CC. Munzeiwa has managed to rake around 500K from each project. Munzeiwa has the protection of his long time friend and Boss Moromedi Mokoto. I understand that Munzeiwa and Moromedi are sharing in he spoils. Munzeiwa takes companies with no capacity, i.e Ntsae Civils, Nifmac etc includes them into the database and then award them projects, usually at inflated costs. Munzeiwa then ropes in Koolcon to do the actual job. The fronting company takesm10% of the profits with Munzeiwa & Koolcon taking the rest. Munzeiwa has since excluded my company and all " uncooperative" companies. I have noticed that a number of his "associates" are now in the new list, I.e Ntsae Civils & Nifmac. In the past 3 years alone Munzeiwa has raked in over R15 million. Despite having reported this to his superiors & the division over 8 months ago, It seems that they are protected
