I am very disappointed with the service i receive at african bank, My mom passed away on the 25/05/2013 from 3 of june i have been submitting death certificate&African bank is one of them so I went to the durban branch&submitted certified copies there, department of education put her salary by mistake on her acc on the 14/06/13&African debited their monthly instalment&that where i started doing follow up, only to find out that the documents were never submitted from the first place, i went to Berea branch I wasn't help either, i was given no to call, i called in the following monday so i can have fax no to fax all necessary documentation, i faxed it 16/06/2013, Department need the salary back, which we have taken back what was left, we need a refund of that debit order.
I have been calling them but it instead they will give me wrong contact details for their claim department, African Bank has never call me back with the feed back. I am feed up with the poor service i receive from this company. I am dealing with the loss of my mother&i still have to deal with them. Even now i don't know the period that i should wait for this documents to process. Very unhappy with the
