I, Banthati Noel Nigel Lekalakala (ID NO. 770721 5358 08 9) have recently just learned that my personal banking account has been closed. I have taken time form my office to enquire only to find out that other of my banking account (business account) has also been closed as I was trying to get my banking statement. I therefor asked when the last transaction took place and the reason for its closure.

I was then informed that the last business transaction was on the 8th of May 2013, which is less than a month dating to today the 02nd of July. To my understand it is less than 3 months. Further, the bank never took the time to inform me of such developments and they are telling me that the reason is that the account was overdrawn by around R400.00.

They therefore that account can never be re-opened. I then have come back with an appointment letter that shows that I have acquired a tender to re-open a new account.
Reason I needed the statements is because my accountant needs to update my financial statements. Which at this very moment is been difficult as the account has been closed without notification. Which further puts my name in a cross fire with SARS.
