I have a Funeral Plan with Standard Bank and noticed they had taken off two payments end June. I phoned the Funeral Plan division and was informed that a payment in April wasnot taken. On a three month statement i noticed that not only did the money come off in April but they had taken Two payments off in May and again in June, I shiver to go back further and see how many more payments they have taken off. I was told I must sort this out, why? (I didn't mess this up) This morning my Medical Aid tried to take their payment off but couldn't as the funds were short. I will now be suspended on my Med Aid and am on Chronic treatment and suffer with Hypertension, If something happens to me now will Standard Bank pay all my hospital accounts? I think not!!! This has now become my problem and some clerk in Standard Bank will be paid for not doing his job.
