Sanlam has really showed me why you should never apply for a personal loan. I applied for a loan and did a contract over the phone, firstly they paid the incorrect loan amount into my bank account. I then paid the money back to them which was paid to me in error being to much. They then shocked me even more by debiting my bank account with the incorrect amount and also on the incorrect date leaving me with no money in my bank account.
I am totally shocked in the lack of professional from the staff at Sanlam Personal Loans and also the fact that I received no apology. I had to pay a deposit fee on R5 000.00 which was paid to much into my account being (R125.00), I am also paying a extreme high interest rate on the loan and this can not be explained to me.
To all the people out there wanting a loan avoid Sanlam and also Direct Access, you will have a run in and this is not really fair on us. To Sanlam thank you for making this the worst experience ever.
