No Return Calls

I have been looking at what accounts one qualifies for once they have recently graduated. Other banks such as Standard and Absa have dedicated graduated student accounts which allow them preferential rates when purchasing their first car or house for example. FNB only has their gold cheque account available which is not helpful to people which are new to the scene in terms of acquiring finance. I had already managed to acquire the gold card whilst studying due to a bursary and besides the ebucks and cheque card I dont see how it helps someone in my situation. I brought this up with Rafiq on the16th January who told me I would receive a call that day as from what they understand there is something in the works for new graduates. I never got the call and as a result I tried to get hold of him on the Friday and had to leave a message as he was busy and still no call back. Today being the 21st January I tried again and sadly he is not at work. I spoke to his team leader who said he will call me by the end of the business day. FNB have been great in terms of innovation and banking, but I just wish the one on one interaction was better allowing for the customer to feel more valued.
