I'm very disappointed with Outsurance and their highly advertised promotion to pay you out R400 if they can't beat your current car insurance. It sounded too good to be true but as it has been advertised for ages now (print, radio etc) I thought we would give it a shot. Needless to say there are repeated stories as to why they will not payout the R400... they were nearly R300 higher per month on my car insurance!!! What disappoints is not only the excuses to not pay out but also the lack of feedback when I have asked several people what further info they need from me TO payout.
They are super efficient in contacting you to give you the initial quote and bend over backwards (as they like to brag) in the initial stages but once they fail to come close to your existing insurance you can not get a response from a single person via email and no one will call you either. It's amazing how they fob you from one person to the next once they know they aren't going to be getting your business. Disappointed... for such a big company.
