Good day, I brought a cell phone from game south gate on the 13/01/2013. Last week Friday the phone just stopped working - 14/06/2013. Yesterday the 19/06/2013 I called finrite insurance, and spoke to hope, justin. I left 3 msg's for George Mpatheni to call me back todate nobody has called me back. When i brought the cellphone I explained to the sales assistantend that I'm with another service provider namely MTN and that I would lose the warranty if I use the other service provider the assistanted told me that I need to take out games insurance in case something happens to the phone. So yesterday when I called the insurance to lodge my claim they advised me that my phone is not insured for mechanical faults. My question is what's is mechanical faults? the sales assistanted who sold me the phone said that my phone would be covered. Which means according to the insurance is incorrect. So if that's the case I would be laying a change against the consultant for selling the insurance under false pretense () if the cellphone is repaired or changed. I would have not taken the insurance if I knew that I won't be covered, hence the consultant telling me that I would be covered.
