The 10th of June i took delivery of a 2006 opel corsa 1.6 sport. financed by Wesbank through Parkview Auto south in Vanderbijl Park sales man: Stefan. i have called Wesbank a number of times to negotiate the interest rate and query the additional charges on the contract but i was always told by the consultants to speak about it with the dealership; first of all i suspect as the car was going for R63.960. now the total repayments at the end of a 72 month period is R126, 642.96 at 15.5% interest rate which is literally twice of what the car is worth; i need some SERIOUS explanations regarding that.
The morning after while driving to work the brakes were squeeking and later failed to function, i called the dealership and told them then they had told me to take the car to the nearest garage for a quote. i took the car for a diagnosis at my local Bosch service center and the car needs brake pads, brake discs and cv boots, four new tyres and a service which they do not want to pay for. Now i am also questioning why Wesbank could finance such a car and does the car have a roadworthy certificate because to my knowledge such a car will not pass the test. Considering CPA cancellation.
