NO ANSWER ON A BOND APPLICATION FOR 2.5 MONTHS

We applied for a further home loan at the end of March 2013. We have been given several reference numbers as each time they "closed" the file for one or other reason. The last being that they had no feedback from one of their own departments? Patrick Murta? is the "manager" we last spoke to on the 7 June 2013 who vowed to come back with an answer the same day. Didn't happen. This morning 10 June 2013 someone named Lachlan phoned to say they needed our May payslips (a testament to how long they have been sitting on the application - another month has passed) and a letter stating a judgement had been lifted? He didn't know what judgement or for which person? It has now been an hour of myself and my husband trying to reach a manager on the phone and we have been shunted from pillar to post with still no joy of getting anyone on the phone!? Dear Standard Bank - you are decidedly guilty of false advertising on your telephone answering system. I have never in my entire life experienced such appalling service and apathy & this includes my dealings with SARS! We will be approaching other banks to take over our home loan as clearly Standard Bank doesn't need the business. UTTERLY DISGUSTED!
