Missing money and No feedback

On the 10 of Jan this year I transferred a 1000 to my mom as I always transfer money to her and this money somehow never got to my mom. I called FNB a number of times and went to one of the Branches at The reeds to trace what happened and I was sent from pillar to post and told to tel my mom to enquire from her bank which they said there was nothing they could do and i needed to follow up with FNB.

We were later told the money went into another account, how I don't know because I had been sending money to my mom and she always got it but not this time.

I contacted FNB again and i was told that the issue would be investigated and till today, it has been 6 months and i have had No feedback from FNB and the money still has not been recoverd.

I am very appalled at the service I have received regarding this especially considering the diverse portfolio I have with FNB, I moved to them thinking I would get better service from my previous provider but here I sit with this situation.

I am considering taking this issue to the Ombudsman
