I have a shortfall cover that is supposed to cover any remaining expenses left after my comprehensive insurance settles. I asked Venisha how the process works, not at any stage did she mention that there is a hidden admin fee at the end of the payout. I spoke to her on so many occasions but she did see the value in informing me as a client that I will not have a peace of mind form the insurance that I took out for my peace of mind.
I had goo and efficient service until I asked what the amount is for and she can't tell me, instead she sends me a complicated policy wording and tells me the info was on the claim form and it was not. She also told me not to worry cancellations will take care of the rest of the shortfall. Cancellations guy (santosh) was not very helpful, he told me he would send me a break down of why the amount was not fully paid and he never did. he further told me to go back to Venisha as he only deals with cancellation but i got tired of being bounce around like a tennis ball. I just want my shortfall to fulfil its purpose and not leave me with an expense for more than R2500.00 this is not normal as I expect my shortfall to cover me.
