Worker who cannot send email

I was contacted recently regarding my overdue account. I would like to pay it but I do not like to do things over the phone. I asked the agent more than 3 times to send me a email stating my balance etc, and she said she wont send a email, i must speak over the phone. she apparently spoke to her manager and the manager also said no email to be sent. She was rude and I asked her why she is being and all she said was goodbye, eager to get me off the phone.
Now my query is this, if your agents or company cannot send a simple email with a balance, how am I supposed to pay my account.
