At 06h00 this morning I saw an SMS for a debit order for a company go through on my account. Immediately I responded by transferring R16.5k to cover a R2k amount.
At 09h58 I get an SMS that the debit order has been bounced (it was timed as 09h40) - the dating on the system is wrong as well as the dates do not run in sequence and secondly - I usually get an overdrawn SMS - This time I did not!!
Please explain to me how a bank such as FNB does not have a system in place to check for these things (via e-mail - as the one who phones me will get an earful!! - and tell your IT people that is quiet an easy SELECT and COMPARE statement in SQL) and then RECTIFY this matter (by that i mean reverse the charges). Orifices
