MFC has written off my account as bad debt. Then my payments went into a R0.00 balance which stayed R0.00. I stopped paying and asked where my payments was going to. No explanation was forthcomming as is the norm wirh MFC in my experience. My credit report shows that my account balance is R0.00 and that the account is paid up so I assume it is sorted out. Yea right! I forgot I was dealing with MFC! In April 2013 WJ legal acting on instructions from MFC try to illegally repossess my vehicle. I tell them no way my balance is R0.00. Carla from WJ Legal phones me and says even though the amount was written off we still owe the amount outstanding and that we have 24 hours to pay 60 persent (R13000) of amount owed or they will repossess. I beg and borrow from friends and fam and pay the money. I phone MFC and make arrangements to pay outstanding amount and they accept. When I went to renew my license in May 2013 I am told that we cannot renew the license as the vehicle is registered as MFC loss control department as the owner. I phoned MFC to find out what now and get told to get a roadworthy certificate and they will re register the car in our name. O no. I want the court orders!!!
