On the 16 MAY I requested that a manual processing facility be loaded on to one of my credit card machines with the assurance that it would take 24 hours or so. Now 6 days later this has not happened. Each department blames the next and no one takes ownership of the problem and sees it through. The query has been "escalated"(industry speak for we want you to believe that we have prioritised your issue) with no result. The last person i spoke to was Stanley who asked me to email him and assured me tthat he would follow up with me that day. Now at the end of the day i called his office and he has gone home for the day, again FNB has failed to meet thier commitment to me, their customer. They serioulsy seem to have no interst in resloving my query. Meanwhile my business is being adversley affected by this non exsistent reponse from FNB. Each day I have to explain the whole saga again to some manager who the call centre agent has not briefed - same result, NO RESULT.
If you need to get credit card machines in your business be wary of this kind of service from FNB. Im sure their must be many better servcie providers out there. Perhaps this will spur them into action - or not.
