POOR SERVICE FROM HOME LOAN DEPARTMENT

We applied for a homeloan from Nedbank 26 April, providing all documentation as Gilda requested telephonically on 25 April. Upon following up the 28th she claims she never received it and we resend the application. The following week is a circus up and down with more documentation requested which was not initially requested!

On 6 May we started following up for feedback on which we get the same reply every time "We are waiting from credit dept.". On 15 May only we get an answer with a rate of PRIME PLUS 3.1%!! RIDICULOUS!

When asking to revise that rate we get feedback the 17th saying it has been agreed on 10% for 360 months.(Still feel this is higher than the market.) We accept and are then informed that we will get our documentation Monday 20 May. We only got our docs today and now it says 10% for 300 months! Once again wrong!!!

What is the use of having a private banker if they take a month to do 1 homeloan application?
FNB called me back within 24 hourswilling to complete and application for me, I am not even their client and already their service is better!

We demand that this be sorted out immediately and that Nedbank review the way they treat their private clients!
