On Jan 18 I cancelled my Garage Card because SB coupled it to my Credit Card and I do not want it that way. I asked for a Garage Card coupled to my Cheque Account and was told it would be delivered to the Grove branch in Lynnwood Ridge Pretoria. On 7 Feb I followed it up and was told it was sent to Nelspruit. Then the run around started. No Customer services agent new what goes on and nobody can see what is happening on the system. Zwedi said the card is in Nelspruit and gave me a reference number thah Nosipo cannot see on the system. Shabier said he cannot help me as the card could only be rerouted in aweeks time. I was promised feed back before bussiness on Friday that did not happen. No, it is crystal clear and verey obviuos that Standard Bank does not have a clue what their staff are doing. The staff to me seems totally incompetant and all the departments have the wrong names, i.e. Customer services cause more problems that they havesolutions. The complaints dept does not work on Saturdays - do they actually word during the week??? It seems to me Standard Bank has no become the very real BEEP Bank in S.A and I am moving my account this Monday morning first thing.!
