Abt 2 weeks back i went to the Dobsonville branch to apply for a loan. I spoke to David who was friendly and helpful, it being my 1st tym applying for a loan i didnt have all the documents needed. Had to go back abt 3 tyms which i'm not complaining about as i understand that correct procedures have to be followed. When i finally got my documents together my application was declined simply because the plastic cover on my ID peeled just a litle bit next to the photo. David went in to the manager's office to verify all the documents so my application can be processed, he went in and was out within seconds which gives me an idea that the "manager" took a single look at my ID and decided its. I understand that the bank needs to protect its self against criminals but to be paranoid like that and paint every1 with the same brush without even double checking all the details is totally unfair. i was planning to transfare my salary from Ned bank to capitec to make it easier for monthly debits but i think i'll stick to Nedbank after all.
