Wrong inception date, refund still pending

Oneplan talks a very good game, but when it comes to administration it seems, the backbone of such a company, they are lacking severely.

I signed up for Oneplan's lowest tier hospital plan for my husband and I, purely because I was unsure about them, so didn't want to start off at the highest tier. A good move...

I clearly indicated my inception date as 1 June, but when I received my documentation it indicated 1 May. After many emails I received confirmation and updated documentation indicating a 1 June inception... and then the debit order still went off on 1 May.

After more emails I was promised a refund, nothing yet. I requested immediate cancellation this morning - we'll see how that goes.

I see medical aid/insurance as a very personal expense. These are the guys that need to come through for you in what could be the darkest times of your life. If they can't get the most basic of administrative tasks right, I have absolutely no confidence that they'll be there when I really need them!
