I moved bank, and all my debit orders weren't moved by accident. Then I missed one installment to Old Mutual for my death and disability cover (that I've had for over ten years). On Friday, I get a letter dated 26 April, but because of the postal strike and resultant delays, I did't receive it in time, as my deadline to pay was 06/05/2013 . This morning I phoned and asked why I did not receive an email or phone call, seeing as there was a postal strike. I was informed that my policy was cancelled and I have to reapply. I find it totally unacceptable!
