I went on to the net to apply for a loan, I had been pre approved and was advice to go to the branch with my documents to complete the loan. I went to the branch and spoke to one of the sales ladies. Service was no problem, but i was told to sign the contract and the money will be paid into my account within an hour.
After 24 hours no funds has been received and I contacted them they told me my application has now been declined as they cant confirm employment but I must come back and they will sort everything out. Needless to say the reason for the loan was urgent!!
I went back to African Bank in Randfontein in Main Reef Road, and was yet again asked to sign a new contract as the old one was now not valid anymore, i did sign and was told everything is definitely fine and the money will be paid into my account within the next hour.
Needless to say i called again after no funds has been received and they wasted my time for 6 hours, and i was told it has been declined due to affordability. Is this not something you do before a client sign documents, is this professional. No it is not and i really are very disappointed in this service i received from them. Please explain how??
