Poor service and unnessary delays

Loan approved higher than taken. Further loan requested and during the assessment I identified that I was a home owner builder. There seemed to be no problem, the value would accommodate the further loan. During the delays:- 1st stated that the assessor required the approved plans. Sent with engineer's completion cert. of 1st Level. 2nd - 3 weeks now told to submit quotes on outstanding work? A waste of both my time and contractors. Anyway sent. More delays, I requested that both the assessor and his superior come view and speak to me. Mr Rajesh Sooklall phoned and openly denied the visit. He stated do what I say or he would not approve the loan. He implied 1 to be deceitful and underhanded. This was requested for in writing, to date nothing. Does Standard Bank treat: - its customers as individuals? Stop home owner builder? Force you to pay exorbitant amounts to contractors? Support smaller business, job creation? Soon contractors will charge for quotes! Ironically I could have taken the full amount in the beginning and did nothing. Instead I improved the property only to receive this unprofessional treatment.
