I have been in an accident on the 19th April 2013 and laid a claim with Outsurance relating to my incident
After taking my car for an assessment and choosing EuroCars Autobody as the approved panelbeater for the job, i was told that the turnaround time for the repair would be between 8 to 10 working days.
I expected my car to be ready for collection last week Monday (6 May 2013) as agreed and after numerous calls i only received my car on the 10th May 2013.
Upon inspection of my car, i noticed that the service was truly shoddy and not what i expected
What made matters worse was the fact that the panelbeater advised me of 2nd hand doors that were used on my car for the repair
I am absolutely livid as i have been paying a hefty premium for many years only to receive this type of service from a reputable Insurance company that have authorised the SIAS assessment for repair
I am not willing to accept this as i demand BRAND NEW doors be installed on my vehicle
The approved assessment is not transparent and indicated SECOND instead of secondhand and i was not given the choice of having new doors fitted
Should this matter not be resolved i will take it to the press as i've had enough
