Please note that i called multiply to register for the service in December 2012. i was told by the consultant that i would not have to pay a once off fee to join the gym because i was being moved across from vitality to multiply. I was delighted. the consultant did not state an end date to this offer. so naturally i went to the gym this weekend to register and i was charged the once of fee of R695. i called today to find out why i was charged, kagisho Ramphele and Vishal Mahes advised that the end date for that offer was in April 2013 and the said it was end of March 2013. they advised that bankmed sent out a communication around this. i never received any comunication. why did the initail consultant not advise me of the time frame. i could have planned around this. the ref number i was given is 200019898804. Communication should be better. Lack of communication should not be a fault on my part. Consultants in the call centre should be more informative. if i dont some sort of resolution, i will be taking this up with National Customer Protection.
