Last year October I paid all my accounts in full to Absa. December last year I had a credit check done and to my surprise I was "handed over" for my credit card. After about 10 emails with absa personnel to get statements, to see where this so called debt still is, I went to a local branch. There they told me to call legal because they "cant" give me statements. Called legal and, off course, no help there either!! I'm getting really sick of this bank's incompetent staff and lack of helpfulness! If there is a so called debt, I want statements! If they can't give statements they are just playing a to from there clients! Tired of this pathetic bank and service rendered to it's clients!
