In November last year someone deposited money into my Capitec account. I got an sms reflecting an amount. A few hours later I received another sms with the same amount and different reference. I thought that someone else who owes me money deposited the money. A few days later when I swiped my card for purchases for R200 my account had R700 less in my account. Now December we made purchases and got confirmation that they went through, now in January they say the transactions didnt go off. It seems that they gave us credit that we didnt apply for or couldnt afford. To show how they "value" their clients they send a stupid sms that does not clarify anything. I will be taking the matter up with NCR cause in my view, I did pay for purchases and did not budget for this. Disappointed
