I am extremely disappointed with the Newton Park/PE home loans department.
I submitted an application for a Home Improvement Loan on 26 March to Barbara Fisher-Hill and was told all was in order. I must continue to spend my cash and submit invoices for payouts.
The assessors would then come out and do the assessment, and then i would receive a payment for loan we were approved for. Sounds like a normal process? Well not in my case!

We registered the amount with the bond registration which was approved, so this should be a smooth process. This has been a nightmare! I have now spent all my available cash, and are awaiting a refund for the loan so that i can continue with the work to complete.
The assessor came out last Tuesday (30 April)... and still no payout! On top of all of this, my bond repayment came off my account... which was nearly R1000 more than what was supposed to be paid! What is going on??? I will never take out another loan with STD bank again in future! Pathetic service!
And as a PRESTIGE CUSTOMER (Leandra Jacobs is my consultant) i don't see the point as there is no special service. She should have sorted this out for me. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.
