DEBIT ORDER FAULT!!!

Hi

I have an insurance policy with Telesure Group Service - Auto And General.
There is two bank accounts noted on my insurance policy.
My account is for the ford figo, contents and the all risk items.
For my husbands account it is JUST THE FORD RANGERS.
my husband didnt pay for his insurance, now there is a lapse fee, note that he only has the car on my policy, and I had to pay the lapse fee, but my INSURANCE PREMIUM for my car, contents and allrisk didnt go off? why?
i have phoned the offices today regarding this, and it was confirmed that it was an reinstatement fee,? how can it be a reinstatement fee, if my policy is still active? it doesnt make any sense!!!
and how can my husbands vehicle go off my account and suddenly the contents and all risk will be going off his account.
this is not what was mentioned, listen to you convos, i want this matter sorted as this is not proffesional.
My policy should be active and in order.
