Account debited incorrectly

My debit usually goes out on the 25th of every month. I was shocked when i noticed that my account has increased by - R900. I called the call centre and they advised me that my installment has risen due to insurance added to my account. This is unacceptable as without my consent how is it possible for a bank just to debit my account freely surely this is i have not received written confirmation that they will do so nor have i received an e-mail from the bank stating their cause. The call centre states that i have to show proof that i have comprehensive cover which i have and a letter to be faxed to the customer service office which i have done so. I now have to wait 48 hours for my money that was deducted from my account and is unacceptable. The bank didnt wait 48 hours to debit my account and i want them to immediately refund my money.
