Purchased Gordon Ramsay pots on 2 Dec 2012, they advertised a delivery lead time of 4-weeks. On the 7 Jan 2013 I called the Call centre in Cape Town & had to hold over 2hours before my call was answered, spoke to a reasonable gentlemen that advised their existing courier company had declared insolvency & they had seeked alterntive arrangements & I would have my delivery 7days from the 07.01.13. After 10days of not recieving my purchase, I contacted Groupon again & a young lady picked up, who was very rude, no customer service skills at all, kept putting me on hold for long periods & then promising me a delivery by next wednesday. When I the paying customer seemed to get upset about the situation her company had put me through, she became even more rude & aggresive, exemting herself out of the situation & then put the phone down in my ear after asking her about my other purchases & why would groupon put the same purchase on speacial again promising the same lead time when i had been waiting over 7 weeks. I purchase from Groupon often & this has placed a bad taste in my mouth. Why don't South African company invest in training their staff on customer service.
