One week ago I purchased a Voucher on Groupon which was for discounted tickets to get entrace to the Bester Birds Animal Zoo in Pretoria. No where on the advert did it say the vouchers were only valid for adults. I quote from the advert:
oPay R35 for entrance tickets, feeding of farm animals and a Python Education Demonstration for two people, valued at R70
oPay R67 for entrance tickets, feeding of farm animals and a Python Education Demonstration for four people, valued at R140
oPay R94 for entrance tickets, feeding of farm animals and a Python Education Demonstration for six people, valued at R210
At Bester Birds on Sat 9 Feb we had a very unfriendly lady at the gate telling us the voucher for 4 people we purchased was only valid for adults and that we needed to pay another R60 for our 2 children to enter. May I point out that the normal entrance fee is R30 per child and R35 per adult. So on the so called special deal of groupon I paid R127.00 to get in. Without the voucher it would have cost me R130. I whole wopping R3.00 saving!!! I sent Groupon my complaint and no one bothered to contact me. Voucher code: 00102033T3 Complaint ref (#684514)
