On the 18th July 2013 at 6:16 am I received an e-mail from Groupon advertising 'Mint State Nelson Mandela Coin' for sale. (see attachment) when u click on view it - it then directs to the web page as attached.
The advert clearly states the following:
Choose between these options:
o Pay R1 232 for one MS66 Mandela Coin, valued at R2 800
oPay R5 495 for five MS66 Mandela Coins, including one free coin, valued at R14 000.
Upon receiving the coins I purchased I checked to see which one of the coins was the one valued at R14000-00 and could not identify it, so I sent a mail to Groupon to advise as to which one it is.
They have now responded (I have received feedback from our Product support team :
They have advised me with the following information :
It needs to be understood as follows:
5 coins are valued at R14 000, the one coin is free.
One coin is valued at R2 800 - 2 800 x 5=14 000)
but this was not mentioned on the advert that was sent to consumers.
