I am writing to address a matter of significant concern regarding a recent paid advertisement published in your newspaper. The ad falsely states that the JAZMAX REDHILL, JAZMAX CHATSWORTH, and JAZMAX MALVERN franchises have been terminated and implies that there are ongoing financial audits.
This misleading information not only tarnishes the reputation of Blue Ocean Realty but also casts our company in an unflattering light within the community. As a result, we are experiencing substantial financial repercussions, which we estimate to be in the millions.
I am compelled to question why such a serious advertisement was published without adequate research, despite it being a paid campaign. This lack of diligence is reminiscent of the Bell Pottinger incidents, where misinformation caused considerable harm. BLUE OCEAN REALTY only started business on 1 August 2024 and has had no links to Jazmax or its franchises.
I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly. Why was I not allowed to comment if what was reported/advertised was true? It is imperative that we rectify this situation promptly, as the damage inflicted by this false advertising is ongoing.
